Absolutely bad beer!

We were there with a large group, and although the food was pre-ordered in the morning in detail, it took a very long time until it was served. Some had not gotten anything after 2 hours and had to go hungry, because the bus has left again. That must not happen !!! Who was lucky enough to get something ... the food was delicious and a lot.

Despite nice location not recommended. Waiting time for the meal was over 1.5 hours. If the food then at least freshly prepared and would have been good - but unfortunately fail! The meat from roast pork was z. B. so hard that it was simply inedible. The rest of the dishes were mediocre at best. Exception: the mushroom soup was very good. (So ​​there was at least one person in the kitchen who could do something and also wanted to do it, unfortunately the rest was not the case!)

Here, despite several reservations, not on vegetarian guests received, a joke, my money they want finally! The service was rude and just did not want to do their job! To the food (4 course menu)! The soup consisted almost entirely of fat, in the main course the meat supplement was replaced by a duchess potato and the dessert bought together was a joke! The only good thing was the "Mongdratzerl", as it was bread from a, apparently, very good bakery! Just a bottomless impudence what you get here, not a little money, is offered!

We were there for five Sunday lunches and had a catastrophic experience. Three of us ordered a soup that was not there even after 45 minutes. We had to ask 3 times. (This is a Leberknödelsuppe not fresh made.) I would have gotten my main course from the service before the soup and since I wanted the soup first, the service took the plate again. 30 minutes later I got the SAME plate, which was cold and no longer appetizing. (Icing had melted in the meantime. :-)) We all got our dishes at extremely different times. Three dishes had the same sauce, although they were called different and the meat in the roast pork was inedible. We got drinks only once to start despite hand signals and shouts. Had I known that, I would have better divided my drink for the length of the wait. At our complaint, there were only two shrugs and a shrug and no apology. That's why I'm posting here, although I've never done that before. But I've never experienced anything like it ... The soup was good and the tavern quite nice.

The food is always great. The ambience was very appealing, the service always friendly and courteous. Other people may have problems with "forest sound control". With us it always sounds very pleasant. Or it was once very full and a temporary worker was overwhelmed. This happens and you can't blame anyone except the waitress. In any case, we want to stop there every time we visit Amberg.

We were there as a registered group and had to wait over an hour for the meal. When the food came it was partly incomplete and still lukewarm. The price was only considered after several inquiries. In addition, older cards were designed with cheaper prices and we should then pay the significantly higher new prices. Service was friendly and made an effort.

Great beer garden had a schnitzel with fries tasted delicious and the portions are huge. The beer is chilled well and tastes very good. Only the price is a bit too high for the schnitzel. But will go there again.

Bruckmuller will take you back to old Germany. It is a cozy, quaint brewery that serves fantastic food. The bruck beer is great! Seating for large groups helps create the beer house atmosphere, this is a favorite dinner spot for people around Amberg. Both English and German is spoken here and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful.

I've been to Bruckmüller a few times now, and had a blast every single time. The beer is awesome, the food delicious, and the service outstanding. We had the same waitress every time, and I must say that I think she's my favorite waitress ever! Lots of personality! I'll definitely be back.
